CSC HISTORY

The Cohasset Swim Center is a non-profit community pool serving residents of Cohasset and surrounding towns. Founded over 50 years ago, its original mission was to ensure that all residents — especially local fishermen — felt confident in the water. Over time, this mission expanded to include children's swim instruction, recognizing water safety as a vital life skill in our coastal community.

Generations of children have now learned to swim and dive in a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Today, our mission remains the same: to provide an affordable, accessible place where all residents can learn to swim and enjoy positive aquatic experiences.

We are deeply grateful to our founders and the many community members whose generous donations have sustained the Swim Center over the years.
